Chess Incremental Upgrade Tier List

This Chess Incremental upgrade tier list ranks the left-wall cards by how fast they move you toward 100K Chess. It is a companion to the upgrade guide, not a replacement. If a card is not named here, walk up to it, read the header, and slot it next to the closest cousin.

S — ChessSpeed

ChessSpeed is the only S-tier purchase before Prestige 1. The auto-board already exists. ChessSpeed is the multiplier on that motion. Early +/sec lines and Chess costs are printed on the card; believe those numbers over a video from last month. BUY MAX is allowed here during a planned session.

If ChessSpeed is locked, you are on the wrong place or a broken session. Rejoin the live experience from official links. The tooltip language is Gain Chess for every move made by pieces. That is the prestige currency. Treat any card that does not talk about Chess-from-moves as not-S until you measure it.

A — Wins Multi, Chess-named cousins

Wins Multi is A-tier. Crowns are useful. They are not the prestige header. Buy it when ChessSpeed’s next level is a noticeable wait. Any later board whose header still talks about Chess from piece moves is also A once ChessSpeed is healthy. Those cousins are why the store page can claim hundreds of upgrades without making all of them equal.

B — situational walls

Boards that unlock mid-session and boost a side currency belong in B until you have seen the effect on the prestige ETA. Trial BUY, not BUY MAX. If the ETA does not move, demote the card yourself.

C — vanity and panic bulk

Cosmetic walls, flex stats, and BUY MAX on a brand-new expensive card are C-tier for new accounts. They photograph well next to the winged rook and do not print 100K Chess. Save that Chess for the gate described in prestige.

HUD on the left wall

Each card shows levels, a +/sec or similar line, a Chess cost, BUY, and BUY MAX (often with an x3 tag). The prestige header above the plaza is the scoreboard for this list. If BUY MAX would spend a pile you needed for a ChessSpeed level that still moves the ETA, do not press it on a cousin card. Walk up; read; then tap.

Session plan for the wall

First pile: ChessSpeed only. Second pile: ChessSpeed until the next level is a real wait. Third pile: one BUY on Wins Multi, then back to ChessSpeed. Potion window: do not spend Chess on C-tier while Luck is ticking; the gem is a different list. Last stretch to 100K: stop experimenting. ChessSpeed and the auto-board only.

Ticket passes are off this list

Shop items bought with Tickets are not left-wall upgrades. Rank those on the rune tier list or as convenience passes on group perks. Mixing them here hides the fact that ChessSpeed still costs Chess. Codes fund potions; they do not replace this wall.

After Prestige 1

Rebuild ChessSpeed as S again. Newly unlocked walls start at B until you measure them. The prestige tier list covers whether to rush layer two. This page stays about the wall. Independent progress means the player next to you buying a vanity card does not change your S pick.

Mistakes

Wins Multi first because the crown icon is pretty. BUY MAX on a locked-looking new board. Spending the 100K pile on a cousin at 90K. Ranking from a July video after the August rebalance. Ignoring Like/Favorite and then blaming the wall for slow runes.

What not to do

Do not treat hundreds of upgrades as hundreds of S-tiers. Do not prestige to unlock a wall you have not funded ChessSpeed for. Do not hop to the testing place to preview costs. Do not inject an auto-buyer; the button is already on the card.

Patch caveat

Rebalance can swap two letters overnight. If a +/sec line looks taxed, open rebalance notes before you argue with this list in Discord. We will rewrite grades when the live cards disagree.

Use getting started if you still need the click path to the first ChessSpeed level. Use working codes if you are ranking upgrades you cannot afford because Tickets are unspent in the shop. Letters do not print Chess. ChessSpeed does. Tap S until the header moves, then argue A-tier on the next pile.
