Chess Incremental Prestige Layer Tier List

Prestige in Chess Incremental is a timed gate, not a vibe. Layer one is printed on the header: 100K Chess. This list grades the decisions around that number. The full how-to is prestige. The clickable version is the prestige checklist.

S — Reset at 100K after ChessSpeed exists

Hitting the printed target with ChessSpeed already bought is S-tier. That is the design. The ETA can lie; the 100K count does not. If the bar is full, reset. Sitting at 140K because you are scared of the unknown is not caution, it is wasted time.

S — Rebuild ChessSpeed on the new layer

Whatever you keep or lose, ChessSpeed is S again after the reset. New walls are not automatically better than the engine that fills the next bar.

A — Potion window aligned to the last 20%

Drinking Luck and Speed when the bar is already at 80K+ is A-tier. Drinking them at 2K Chess is a waste. Align the 15-minute window with a real push, as runes and ranks describes. Shop example Speed is still a timed burst (x1.5 for 15 minutes). Stack duration if you will stay; do not dump every bottle at 5K.

B — Racing layer two immediately

A second prestige on the same evening is B-tier. It is correct only if layer one clearly unlocked a new income engine and that engine is already online. If you cannot name the new engine, do not reset again. Multiple prestige layers were a launch promise; layer two is not a dare.

C — Early reset, testing-place reset, Robux skip panic

Resetting at 10K because a thumbnail said prestige now is C-tier. Resetting on the 3Face testing place is C-tier. Buying a Robux skip because the ETA showed two hours is C-tier unless you already wanted that pass. Independent progress means nobody is stealing your bar. The plaza is not a raid. Frog is not a skip. RELEASE is Tickets, not a layer.

Chess over 100K. Progress for Prestige 1. ETA. Percent. Crowns from Wins Multi are a different counter. Top names on the right are a different board. Exclusive Codes does not fill this bar. If two of those numbers disagree, believe the Chess count.

Session for the last stretch

1. Confirm live place, not testing place.
2. Codes done; Like/Favorite on.
3. ChessSpeed has real levels.
4. Potions banked or aligned to a 15-minute sit.
5. Watch count, not ETA.
6. At 100K, reset.
7. Rebuild ChessSpeed before you hunt layer two.

If a box in that list is empty, the reset is not S tonight.

How this pairs with other lists

If you cannot reach 100K, you have an upgrade problem, not a prestige problem. Open the upgrade tier list. If you can reach 100K but later layers feel empty, you have a rune problem. Open the rune tier list.

Mistakes

Prestige because a Top name already did. Prestige because the title still says [RELEASE]. Prestige because REBALANCE is in a thumbnail. Prestige mid Speed drink at 40K. Auto-prestige from a parser that read the percent as the count. Spending the last Chess pile on vanity at 95K.

What not to do

Do not sit at 140K “to be safe” if the header already printed 100K. Do not skip codes before a reset; Tickets hop with you and potions should too, but an unredeemed 100KVisits is just forgotten. Do not inject to force the button. Do not treat eight-player crowding as a reason to rush.

Patch risk

A rebalance can change the 100K target. Until the header prints a different number, 100K is the law. After a shutdown, glance at updates before you prestige into a nerf.

Use getting started if you have never seen the header. Use working codes if you are ranking a reset you have not funded with Tickets. This list will not print a secret skip. There is not one on the live client. The S-tier reset is the boring one: 100K, ChessSpeed already bought, then rebuild. Anything flashier is usually a donation to the ETA.
