Chess Incremental looks like a chess match and plays like an idle simulator. Pieces move on their own. You collect Chess. You buy upgrades on the left boards. You roll Runes and Ranks. You prestige when the top bar fills. These guides are the order we recommend you actually read them.
Start with getting started if you just spawned in the lobby. Use how to play if the HUD icons are still a mystery. Spend Chess with the upgrade guide. Time your reset with prestige. What each guide is for
Getting started is the first-session checklist: Like, Favorite, codes, ChessSpeed, and the 100K Chess prestige bar. How to play is the HUD map: hotbar, upgrade boards, chests, Game Rewards, leaderboards. Upgrades is the buy order so you do not starve ChessSpeed. Prestige is the 100K Chess layer, the timer on the top bar, and what you keep. Runes and ranks is the RNG layer that codes actually feed. Shop and tickets is the basket: Switch to Tickets, Exclusive Codes, and what not to buy with Robux. Rune potions is the 15-minute Luck, Speed, and Bulk clock.

First-hour route
- Redeem every string on working codes.
- Like and Favorite for Rune Speed and Rune Luck.
- Buy ChessSpeed levels on the left board. The tooltip is Gain Chess for every move made by pieces.
- Ignore Wins Multi until ChessSpeed is no longer cheap.
- Save potions until you are actually rolling runes.
- Watch the top bar: Progress for Prestige 1, currently 100K Chess.

Common stalls
Chess income feels frozen. You bought the wrong board or you are standing AFK without ChessSpeed. Read upgrades.
Runes feel useless. You rolled without Luck or Bulk potions. Read runes and ranks.
Prestige button never appears. You have not hit 100K Chess. The bar and the ETA sit at the top of the lobby. Read prestige.
Shop ate your Tickets. You bought Robux-priced potions by accident. Switch to Tickets first, as how to redeem shows.
How we write these pages
Facts come from the live Roblox description, the in-game HUD, 3Face’s Discord invite, and public code roundups dated September 2026. We do not invent upgrade caps.
