How to Play Chess Incremental

Chess Incremental is an incremental simulator wearing chess clothes. You do not take turns against another king. You farm Chess from an auto-playing set of pieces, spend it on boards, and reset at prestige layers. This page is the HUD. Strategy lives in getting started, upgrades, prestige, and runes and ranks.

The auto-board

Center plaza: black and white pieces on a tiled floor. They move without you. Captures and checks pop as floating text. That motion is your generator. If pieces freeze, rejoin. If they move and Chess still does not climb, you have not bought ChessSpeed or you are looking at the wrong currency icon.

You can stand on the tiles. You cannot drop a rival’s king to skip Prestige 1. Other avatars are decoration plus leaderboard competition, not a raid team.

The prestige header

Top center prints current Chess, the next prestige target, an ETA, and a percent. Prestige 1 is 100K Chess. The percent is progress, not a drop chance. The ETA shrinks when Chess per second rises. Treat it as a hint, then verify against the raw Chess count.

Upgrade boards

Left wall: large product-style cards. Chess Upgrades is the first wall. ChessSpeed increases Chess from piece moves. Wins Multi is the neighboring crown card. Each card shows level, effect, cost in Chess, BUY, and BUY MAX. BUY MAX with an x3 tag is a bulk purchase, not a prestige. Walk the wall as new boards unlock instead of assuming the first two cards are the whole game. The upgrade tier list grades those early rows.

Currencies on the cards

Pawn icons track Chess-like piece counts on some boards. Crown icons track Wins. Tickets live in the shop, not on the left wall. Potions are timed buffs, not a fourth board currency. Mixing those four up is how people type a code, see Tickets, and wonder why the prestige bar did not jump.

Bottom hotbar

• Basket — shop, Exclusive Codes, Robux and Ticket prices, gifting. See how to redeem and shop and tickets.
• Backpack — inventory for items the shop and world chests grant.
• Purple gem — rune interface. Luck, Speed, and Bulk potions feed this tab.
• Crowned figure — rank or character panel tied to the Rank roll described on the Roblox page.
• Gear — settings.

If a mobile thumb covers the basket, rotate to landscape. Codes cannot be redeemed from Discord chat inside Roblox.

Right-side boards

Game Rewards lists account bonuses. Top is a live leaderboard slice. Full context is on leaderboards. Neither board spends your Chess. They are why the plaza feels crowded even though income is independent.

World objects

Chests sit between the upgrade wall and the winged rook statue. Claim them. The statue is scenery. Mountains and skyboxes are scenery. The testing place listed under the 3Face group is not scenery — avoid it if you want live codes and live prestige math.

Controls in practice

Move with standard Roblox controls. Tap boards to buy. Tap hotbar icons to open panels. There is no move list, no clock increment, no draw by repetition. If you came here from over-the-board chess, unlearn time control. The only increment that matters is Chess per second.

Session template

1. Redeem anything new on working codes.
2. Buy the next ChessSpeed level if it is affordable.
3. Open runes only if you will stay for a 15-minute potion. See rune potions and runes and ranks.
4. Check the 100K bar against prestige.
5. Leave. Offline progress is not advertised on the store page, so do not assume a full AFK payout after logout.

When a patch rearranges the hotbar, updates will note it. Until then, the basket stays left, the prestige bar stays top, and ChessSpeed stays on the first wall.
